A Benefit to Rebuild the Rick Bartow Art Studio at Yakona

Celebrate the life and legacy of acclaimed artist Rick Bartow at a special film festival dedicated to restoring the place where his creative spirit thrived.

About the Festival

This thoughtfully curated event features films inspired by and focusing on the life and artwork of Oregon artist Rick Bartow. Through these powerful stories, we honor his extraordinary contributions to the world of art.

Why We’re Fundraising

All proceeds will go toward rebuilding Rick Bartow’s original art studio—his creative sanctuary on generational land. Though Bartow worked in many spaces throughout his life, this humble studio held deep personal meaning. It offered solitude and inspiration and was featured in scenes from The Line and Legacy of Rick Bartow.

After his passing, the land was sold and the studio faced demolition. In a careful preservation effort, we salvaged over 80% of its original structure. Now, we’re bringing it back to life at Yakona, where it will once again inspire creativity and connection through our HeART Connections art education program.

Be Part of the Legacy

Your support helps preserve an important piece of cultural and artistic history—and ensures that Bartow’s vision continues to impact future generations.
